Practice Policies

  • Not Preferred Providers

We are not preferred providers for any health funds. As a small practice, we believe in providing our patients the best treatment and advice, free from any potential conflict of interest.

Preferred providers are contracted dentists who provide treatment at an agreed fee with the private health fund. The private health funds in turn ‘recommend’ the preferred provider dentists to their policyholders.

This is purely a financial agreement between dentist and the private health fund that allows a dentist to obtain more patients whilst the health fund can pay less in benefits to their customer as fees are pre-determined by the health fund.

The title of preferred provider is not an indication of quality of services as there are no prerequisites in obtaining this status.

  • Payment on the Day

We ask that you pay in full for treatment on the day it is provided. We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

EFTPOS & HICAPS facilities are available.

We accept no responsibility for eligibility or amount of health fund rebate received by our patients.

  • Appointment Cancellation

We understand that you may have to cancel an appointment due to circumstances beyond your control.

We will send a reminder of your appointment, 2 (two) business days prior. Please ensure you give us your best contact method and details. Your scheduled appointment remains your responsibility for you to attend or reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice. We require a notice for any cancellation or reduction of intended treatment needed. Any cancellations made 24 hours before your scheduled appointment does not incur any cancellation fee.

After multiple cancellations, our practice reserves the right to request upfront payment of treatment. This payment will be used towards your treatment; it will be forfeited if the appointment is canceled within 24 hours.
